I haven’t cross checked for duplicates between your 12/10 list and this list but there are probably a few. Ok, with the inspiration from fellow poster “Good Job” who commented down below, I had a thought…. If a person has the ability to forward these specific calls to a government entity or consumer’s bureau or something that might be a good option. For example- the call is made to my phone number but I have my phone pre-programmed to forward all these calls right to whatever government agency I choose. Does anyone know who the best choice for this would be? Maybe the attorney general of each state? I’d love to see these calls get directly routed to someone who has the muscle to make them stop!

I get two to three calls per day. It has been going on for months. I called back the number which said It would allow me to opt out. It said to wait 2 – 3 days for it to take effect…that was months ago and I still get the calls. There seems no way to get it to stop.

I kept some rep on the line for about 30 mins today. will talk with another one tomorrow. Maximum Security Alarm out of Sacramento CA has been calling my cellphone 4 times a day for the past month and I havent been able to get them to place me on their DNC list….

VIVINT HOME SECURITY / AUTOMATION (WWW.VIVINT.COM) is the culprit behind the telemarketers calling me almost daily. Their number is 877-404-4131 (my recent telemarketer’s extension is #55052). After their most recent call, I decided I would be patient and answer all their questions in an attempt to earn more about the company behind the calls. So after about a half hour, I said the battery power on my phone was about to expire and asked if there was a number I could call them back at from another phone. The caller trusted that I was a real potential buyer and finally gave me the telephone number and company information. I have received 3 calls just today from 503-902-8127 but did not answer as I was on business calls when it was beeping in on my cell phone!! I have asked to be removed multiple times. Got so angry today I went online to the link Michael gave to the DNC and filed a formal complaint. My cell number has been on the DNC since 2004! Please take the time to file a complaint, it only takes a few minutes. This is the only way they will be stopped.

I have been receiving calls from this number for over a month. I honestly do not know how they came upon my number. I mention that I have been receiving these calls for more than one month because as a caveat of the do not call list, when one allows a vendor to solicit business by cold calling, any allowance made to the DNC only lasts 30 days. Because today is Friday, and I am feeling especially patient I sat through the entire spiel. I have the name of both the marketing firm as well as the security firm with which they paired me. I have found the company making these calls I found there info online after much work to track down this number 425-390-8149.
There website is http://www.revocalize.com and their phone number is 877-783-5192. They are a telemarketing company.
They said they are the ones who have been calling and promised to remove my name from the calling list.

Here’s how I finally decided to deal with spam calls, but not everyone will be able to do this due to work, active lifestyle, etc. I am older & don’t use phones any more anyway (love the peace & quiet, & turned off all former landline ringers 15 years ago, & would refer to former ID Caller if I needed to return any legitimate calls).
About 4-5 years ago when I realized what a waste of $$ my Cingular cell bill was since I never used the phone much, I ditched Cingular & got a cheapie “throw away” cell from Sams Club & a $100 1,000-minute card from Walmart (minutes good for a year, T-Mobile), & dumped all landline phones. I only use that cell # to give out to banks, credit cards, utilities, etc., whoever “requires” a phone number.
Then 3-years ago I discovered the fantastic hold-in-hand internet machine aka iphone, but never give ANYONE the iph# because I don’t use it as a phone but as a mini-computer only.
Then approx. mid-2011 these incessant Oregon spam calls began to the iph#! In the beginning I was just deleting all the numbers, NEVER answered any of the calls because I knew no one had my iphone#. Ringer & Vibrate have always been turned Off but since I am always online on iphone, when spammers call, it flashes a popup in your face unexpectedly which rattles my concentration. Very annoying.
FINALLY I wised up & realized I could FORWARD all iphone calls to the throw-away cell#, so that’s what I did & got back my peace with no spammer calls/ interruptions. I simply have a look at the ringer-off-throw-away-cellphone about twice a day & add the latest spam #s to Contacts I created labeled SPAM.Oregon.971 or 503, etc.
Maintaining peace, as best we are able with these out-of-control spam calling crooks.
Another idea, if you know someone with a dedicated fax line who wouldn’t mind, forward all your calls to a fax # for awhile & let the spammers get an earful of a fax squeal. Maybe the DNC has a fax#! Or the DOJ or FCC, etc.! 🙂
And yes, any/all phone #s since the DNC was invented have been added to it but it obviously doesn’t control the crooks very well.
Add the name “Brett from Home Security One” and the number (253) 246-8514 to your list.
Many times I get the person on the phone to tell me they represent Protect America, selling GE Home Security systems. Email these people at GE and let them know how happy you are about these calls. If you are willing to boycott these companies until they stop, let them know that.

I spoke with “James” at this number when he called two days in a row. They are offering a “free” home security system. I told him on Monday I live in an apartment and do not need a home security system. After I told him this, he asked to speak to the homeowner. I told him I live in an apartment, and please remove my name. On Tuesday I received another call from him. I told him again that I live in an apartment and will not need a home security system. I again asked him to take my name off the list. He laughed, and said he would call again later. I told him not to call – I wanted my name off his list. he again laughed and said he would call later. This is harassment, and I have reported his company to the ineffective do-not-call registry. The lesson here: even if you ask to have your number removed, they will mock you.

Male robot doesn’t have a name, starts spiel with “Congratulations, you have been selected for a free home security system…” I pressed “1” and was connected to women operators at “Home Security Network,” who ask if you’re interested in their hs system, then pass you off to an appointment setter, who really lays out the sales spiel. Monitronics is the monitoring company connected to this number.
I have been getting calls from James at Home protection, 971-220-1761, non-stop. Put my number on their “do not call” list but they ignore (also on the national do not call, which they ignore). I just answered and threatened to sue and ask for treble damages and he hung up. Next time if he will calls I think I will actually show interest in the service and offer to order it and see how much identifying info I can get, because I will sue in LA small claims court. Anyone for a class action?

I’ve had these calls for almost 2 years no. They call my landline (AT&T) that doesn’t have caller ID… but when I hear silence, then a robotic voice, I start screaming into the phone. I’ve done this since the second call I ever received … and I don’t mean a sissy scream either!
I cup my hand around my phone and REALLY let some anger out… especially when I’m called at 7 IN THE MORNING. The FCC and DNC list DOES NOT HELP. I just wish I could get a house number of an employee of this company and wake them up at ungodly hours.
